MUSKETEER RULES

 

 

 General rules

  1. All members should be respectful and polite to other members at all times.

  2. All members should respect the decisions of all league staff members.

  3. All members should be respectful of other members and all other players in the lobby.

  4. All members should be registered with the league using the exactly same id that they use in the game rooms. If for some reason you need to change your registered name then please use the user editor to do so.

  5. All rules established by Case’s Ladder are followed. these can be found under the rules tab on the main page .

  6. Members in the same household can not play on the same team at any time.

  7. Members should not play false games or use cheating devices to attempt to boost ratings or win matches.

Game Play

  1. Show common courtesy during game play. Common practice is to start off a game with a vgl. During play it is common curtesey to say good hand(gh) or good round(gr) . At the end of a game, players congratulate each other by saying very good game(vgg).

  2. Play at a reasonable speed to insure the game can be finished in the allowed time. usually a single game limit is 15 minutes for short games and 20 minutes for longer games, but most games will finish before that.

  3. If a player has an issue with the game, the TD should be notified. usually this means inviting the TD to the game table. If a player has a complaint about the other player, then they can Instant Message the TD.

 

 

     

    Tournament Play

    1. Tournament rules and pairings will be announced by TD in the lobby.DO NOT MAKE TABLES BEFORE PAIRINGS ARE ANNOUNCED. Left player Invites for match. Exception is a 69 Tournament. Left Player makes 6's Table and Right Player makes 9's Table.

    2. NO WATCHING ALLOWED UNLESS SPECIFICALLY ASKED IN THE LOBBY AND BOTH GAME PLAYERS AGREE.

    3. Players should only be playing at a maximum of 3 Tournaments. If they are in more than 3 matches, they can be disqualified at the discretion of the td. Players should ask td for permission to play more than 3 but must continue to play at a reasonable pace.

    4. If a player is disqualified from a match or match ends but yahoo has not ended game, then the match should be cancelled.

    5. During Tournament Games the use of FF (Force Forfeit) on the other player is totally unacceptable if a member is found to do this, it result in an Auto-Disqualification from the whole Tournament. When the other player is MIA then the TD should be invited/requested in the table for a Timer.

    6. Standard rules for timers are 7 minutes total per match for a player to be missing and 15 minutes maximum time for a match. (When a player times out the match will be cancelled).

    7. If the td calls time on a match, the player left at the table wins. If both players are timed out as missing, the player with the highest league rating advances.

    8. No Non-League Games during a Tournament.

     

     

    Lobby Chat

    1. All members should respect announcements from the TD. The use of Caps should be reserved for the TD.

    2. Members should not getinvolved in arguments with any other players in the lobby. If the argument is related to the league , a TD, HTD or Admin can be invited to the discussion.

    3. The use of explicit terms and bad language will NOT be tollerated by anyone you will be asked to stop ,if you continue to use the language or argue the point you will be boxed for 7 days regardless of who or what was said

      Harrasment

      1. Any harassment either sexual or emotional in the lobby or in the form of emails or instant messaging will result in a 3 day penalty(being boxed from the league). . If you are asked to stop by the other partie involved or an admin (if they have been informed of the harrasment) you should immediately do so.if you do not stop when asked it will be a permenant ban from the league

       

       

      Boxing

      1. Warnings will be issued by Admins for rule violations. If the violation persist , additional penalties will be applied.

      2. Boxing will be issued by Admins for recurring rule breaking A Box is usually 3-5 days suspension from the league.

      3. Members will be banned from the league by HA-Admins for the most severe rule breaking.

      4. All boxes are at the discretion of the Admins of the league.
